Book appears to be pretty basic for beginners. Unable to tell you how the product works entirely since the practice files that I was instructed to download were corrupt. Emailed customer service and was told nothing could be done through them but was directed to a help page/forum. Entered problem in search field did not get any results.However, did find out through a Google search that others have had the same problem with practice files for previous versions of this book. Seems this is an ongoing problem that Microsoft Press/Pearson (publisher) has no intention of fixing.Without the practice exercises, this book is only good for the trash heap.
It helps to figure out Microsoft products. Used by my college in order to be able to better understand Microsoft Office. It's very helpful. I passed with a high B.
Good overall office 365 view. If you are looking for information on one specific program I would suggest the manual specific to that program.
I like the clear instructions. It's my take home version of the Kindle version I have on the computer at work. I was happy that I could have both versions so that I could work from the book at my home computer.
Good book for someone who already has some experience with this program. Unfortunately, I bought this looking to see if I could use it for teaching a beginner's class to people who have little to no experience and find this book too advanced for them. Otherwise, lots of good info inside.
Very in depth material, explains a whole lot of functionality that I had no idea existed in in the Microsoft Office programs. However, it is structured as a textbook, and that makes learning from it feel a little cut and dry.
I received this book with oil stains all over it. ABSOLUTELY GROSS!
